Access
India's second busiest airport the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSIA) is the gateway to Mumbai, the financial capital of the country. Mumbai is well connected globally. CSIA is ~8.5 km from IIT Bombay. Taxis and aggregator cabs (Uber, Ola, Meru, etc.) are available at the airport, with fares ranging from ₹500 to ₹1000 to reach nearby hotels and the IIT Bombay campus.
Climate
December is one of the best months to visit Mumbai. Weather in December is usually very pleasant and warm with average temperature ranging from 18°C to 32°C and thereby making it a perfect month for outdoor activities and exploring the city's attractions ranging from historic sites to culture centers to vibrant markets.
